Living a diverse life has given a wealth of experiences such as being a wife, mother, widow, divorcee, world traveler, Southerner, Alaskan, public speaker, boss, employee working in Human Resources, tourism, as well as a waitress and caretaker of those with challenges and now as an expat in Indonesia. Taking advantages of opportunities to travel through all parts of Cuba and Central America, parts of Europe and extensive traveling in Southeast Asia, Sharon gained a broader understanding and appreciation of different cultures of the world. Having been obsessed with journaling, it is time for her to share her adventures, to bring us to new places and new cultures which can cause us to perhaps question pre-conceived notions and which will engage us emotionally, not only with grief and victory, but in ways that challenge the mind.

I could introduce you to my favorite things, like snorkeling, cycling, and music festivals You could join me on the hiking trails of Tucson or camping in National Parks. Perhaps you'd like to join me as I work on art projects with local kids in Bali, my favorite place to spend time. Words can teach you how to make mead or bring you to a highlander's fire in 1772. Words bring the party to life. That's what I enjoy doing with creative writing.
